Game Review (written by Kangydd) Added on: 09/15/2007
Have you ever watched the movie Die Hard? I suggest you play this video game “Die Hard”. This game parallels the movie in many ways and shares the basic idea of John Mc Clane to save his wife and others from the terrorists. The number of terrorists in the game compared to the movie is a little bit higher so don’t get cocky. The first time I played this game, I was enjoyed how close the game was to the movie.
You begin on the 32nd floor and make your way up battling the terrorists as you go.
The graphics are good considering its release in the late 80’s/early 90’s. Like many action/fighting games your player is given a meter, which you have to keep up. Like the other games the meter goes down if he is hit or steps on broken glass. Med-kits and sodas keep up this meter. You will gradually learn Mc Clane travels slower when his meter is down.
The start of the game pits you fighting the terrorists with your bare hands. This is only temporary as once you defeat a “bad-guy” you will be able to take his weapon for your own personal enjoyment like the pistol, machine gun, rocket launcher, and flash bangs, to wreak havoc on the terrorists themselves.

once all the terrorists are defeated thus leading up to a final showdown with Hans, Karl, and any other villains left alive. Many true gamers will appreciate the difficulty of this game seeing how it’s pretty much 40 on 1. Watch your back and go hard.
Hitting start shows you your status: a life meter, foot meter, number of crooks remaining, your weapon and its ammo, the locks left to open and the time for the locks. Your character’s action is directly related to the story that unfolds. The only way you can gain time for the locks is by destroying the main computer on the fourth level.
The game is timed and just like in the movie Hans’s hacker opens the six locks to the vault and it takes him four minutes for each lock. Once the last one is opened you must escape to the roof immediately or game will be over!
I think this is wonderful game I’ve ever played! I suggest downloading it! It’s really great!!!
