Released in 1991 by Hudson Soft Company, ltd. is the classic bomber-man type game Dynablaster. Basically and ultimately it is bomberman with the small tweaks to make it effectively a must-have game, even more so than bomber-man.
The story goes some thing like this. You are playing as a bomber-man-like guy whose girlfriend, or some bomber-maiden who has caught your attention, has been kidnapped by a black version of yourself riding a green (and most probably) evil dragon. Consequently you go to his castle blasting your way through the different coloured levels.

Consequently you go to his castle blasting your way through the different coloured levels. If there is one noted difference between this game and the bomber-man series it is that in this game you are not destroying the poor guy who has the same but differently
coloured appearance as you but a group of dungeon monsters who are, in number, way bigger than the number of challengers in the old series, but even a possible number of six can be up against you!
But that's what makes the game. If you were afraid of not being able to play against other bomber-men then there is no need to worry for you can play in a mode called 'battle mode' which features in a multiplayer system working up to four different players!
The simplicity of the game is one to be praised for many modern day games pay too much attention to the graphics whilst forgetting the ever important element of gameplay. Dynablaster keeps everything simple and colourful. It is not like the graphics are most appalling, if anything they are again simple, colourful and ever so attractive. Although having said that you might notice the odd hexagon or the inflated pixel on your screen but the minor issue hardly effects the game - if at all.
The sound is also very simple, yet reassures you that the game is an open fantasy solely for the fun of playing it and working your way through to the end. The replay value of the game is absolutely awesome. The number of hours I've spent playing this game over and over is incredible due to its great gameplay and playing this with my friends and family is probably one of the most fun aspects of this game I will ever have.
Honestly, this is a game that definitely is not worth missing. A must-have game and I really can't stress it much more than that.
