Game Review (written by Xkindofperfectx) Added on: 02/14/2007
You can start at a number of destinations - the docks, the airport, the shopping mall, etc. Two of these places are straight from Dawn of the Dead - the docks and the shopping mall. You just can't avoid being scared when zombies can run.
Flesh Feast zombies are slow moving, but as we all know, in large numbers they are very dangerous. The best example would be in the original Dawn of the Dead when a biker gang gets into the shopping mall to kill zombies and don't take them seriously enough, just because they're slow.
They can't avoid it, some of their gang members get eaten. When the bullets run out, what do you do?
The weapons in this game are great. You have your classic uzi or shotgun. What I really like is how they show how fast ammo goes, and since you only find ammo every so often, it also shows that guns really aren't the best choice in a zombie attack. In the docks level, you can find a nail gun. That's perfect. You probably could find a nail gun at loading docks, people probably use them to close wooden boxes. There are also some scattered chainsaws in various levels, this is definitely my weapon of choice.
There are a couple downsides to this game as well. The

version I downloaded here is a little buggy, and there are some destinations that don't work. Also, you start out with three different characters to control. They are scattered around the map, so you can't really watch them all at once. They CAN fight on their own if you aren't controlling them, but it's not as effective as manually making them fight. I end up picking one character and just using that character for the whole level.
Overall, this is a great game. The game play is fun and fairly different from most action games. You watch from directly over top, and mostly control with the mouse. This is definitely one of the best games I've played.
