Game Review (written by Kingwal) Added on: 08/13/2007
I like this game. The first time I played it would have been nearly two years ago. It is just like the game R-Type. It is very cool. You have this spacecraft that you move around the screen. You are slowly pushed trough narrow paths that may go forward diagonal up down and even backwards. Over all an 8/10 I’d say.
The game is a 2d game. The graphics is fine and all. It looks a bit dodgy at the front screen but once you get into it’s ok.
Another problem you come across is when you get into the game to get to the next screen (after the what the game is screen) you press ctrl not enter or space. Space pauses the game.
The thing I like the most about this game is the stuff you fire from your ship. Normally in games you have one main bullet, but this game has a power indicator for the bullet. When you hold your hand on the fire button for a bit your ship does different shots. If your hit it repeatedly it just dose one small bullet forward. If you hold it down to half power you get the same thing but with four other bullets going diagonally forward.

Then if you do a full power shot it is a bullet that tares through anything in its path.
The other things you can do in this game are upgrade your space ship. There is the speed, missile, option, laser, and burst. The speed just makes you move faster around the screen. The missile upgrade makes you drop a missile diagonally downwards every now and then. The option make a circular object come next to you and if you get another option you get one on the other side. Mway makes your shooting go vertical (up and down) and shoot forward as well. There is an upgrade to this as well and it makes you shoot two more bullets again per shot slightly diagonally forward. The laser goes through any unit but not walls, and it shoots one bullet forward and two diagonally forward. It to has an upgrade that just makes the bullets longer. Finally there is the burst, which sends a grenade thing in front of you (every few seconds), and then it bursts and kills nearly anything that runs into it or it runs into. There is an upgrade for it just makes you fire them more often I think unless the grenade just bursts for longer. There are objects you pick up to get these upgrades the more you get the different upgrade you will get.
