Game Review (written by Serde) Added on: 12/21/2006
Hello and welcome to my review of James Pond 2 - Codename: RoboCod. After I bought a megadrive some years ago, I had all the sonic you could find. I owned Road Rash and all the other greats. Then at my mates one evening he pulls out one game he has that I don't. RoboCod!
He pulled it out of its case and jammed it into the megadrive, where it would sit for the rest of the night as we fought our way up the toy factory to fight the last boss! The Toy factory has over 50 different doors in it and each door has about 4 sections to waddle through, but that's only if you go through the level once!
There are many different way's through each level and they are all different.

many different way's through each level and they are all different. Not that you will whiz through the game so fast you will have to keep doing the levels again. Oh no, no matter how cutesy you think this game looks it is ROCK SOLID! You get a few lives to be hit with and then well you're screwed the toy's have won! You will be annoyed that you were on section 4 of the level and say you will never play it again. Then you will press start and try again immediately after.
My mate and I were on it all night and only managed to get to room 19 or so. After the next 3 nights I spent there we had done it. After that we didn't know what to do. We got back to the menu deleted the data and started playing again!
The gameplay is really good and the graphics are cool. You will laugh at pond's expression every time he hit's a wall and think that's really weird at some of the VERY imaginative enemies. The sound is bouncy and jingles along well with the game. Although every now and again the music does get tedious! Once you've completed this rock you will keep going back to find power-ups that help you to finish the level faster. Then when you get that time you will beat it. You may even want to collect everything that makes your score go up to get a HIGH SCORE. Face it this game is un-forgettable. Now my Mega-Drive is broken and I can't play it I searched a hell of a lot of places then found it here. Now I must end this review as I must get back to playing Robocod! I'm on room 35 and I'm, loving it! This is the best choice if you have a low download budget!
