Game Review 1 (written by Duckie32905) Added on: 08/16/2006
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is the best game I have ever played. I recommend you to play it as well, even if it's to pass the time away you will enjoy yourself. Even though it’s a 2D game I think it’s still fun, even though it’s a little easier than the first one. The two characters that can only get to the levels are Jazz and Spazz.
They have a few of the bad guys that you can kill with just your little vanilla laser gun.
I think it’s better than the first one because it is a lot easier to pass the levels and in the multiplayer zone you can have as many players as you want, it has a humongous old time castle which by the way reminds me of the one in Super Mario and Luigi, it has this weird but scary big jungle level that you can play on, and much more.
I have seen the other reviews for this game and it seems to be a really big hit with a lot of other people as well as myself. Except for one who liked the graphics more than the game itself. I like the treasure hunting part of the multiplayer game it is

very fun and exciting. And I also like the portion of the whole game where you get to design your own courses and play them as well.
Now back to the game itself. I think that a few levels are a bit too easy for some but that is only until you get to two or three of the bosses then you find out different (I think) and then the fun really begins.
Now about Jazz Jackrabbit he has better moves he can glide with his ears and he can jump a lot higher than Spazz. And for Spazz Jackrabbit he has his karate kick and he can run faster than Jazz (my boyfriend likes his character better than Jazz’s.) I get a real kick out of the weapons that they get to use and how you can easily switch them just by using the number keys.
You have the same three difficulty levels easy medium and hard. I usually use the medium level and some times if I am feeling good and lucky I will use the hard level difficulty. My little sister has to cheat and use the easy difficulty.
So all in all everybody it is a great game! You should download it right now!

Game Review 2 (written by Chibbyness) Added on: 08/12/2006
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is an amazing adventurous 2-d game. The hero, Jazz rabbit, or his mate Spaz rabbit if one prefers to choose at the options panel, will follow paths throughout the game, collecting items that will be advantageous for the character to have. For example, collecting bullets will change his gun power to different types. There are bullets that fly straight towards the enemies and there are bullets that bounce off walls. He also collects foods that will give him a "sugar-rush" when enough is collected, and this sugar-rush will let him kill his enemies by touching them without needing to shoot them.
Throughout the game, there are different levels. At the end of some levels, the character will be confronted by the boss of the level, which is harder to beat than usual enemies. The first few times I played this game, confronting the boss made my nerves shiver with excitement. It brought a strange sense of nervousness and jumpiness, placing me on my toes. The first time one plays, one has to unlock the first level before one can go on the other levels. So beating the boss of a level caused my excitement because I could hardly wait for the next level to be played under my hands.
This game can also be played by two players. Two players can cooperate to win a level or two players can play each other in games like capture-the-flag. The graphics in this game are really awesome. I like most the background in each mini-level. It is made so that the character seems to really stand in a city or area and not just on a screen. The colors come alive on my screen and my eyes fall deep into them.
This is the first game I’d really love my whole life. It was first introduced to me when I was younger. I'd played the demo version in a friend's house and was so addicted to it I decided to find the whole version online. It was highly addictive to me back then and still is now. There are other versions, like Jazz Rabbit Holiday Hare, one themed on Christmas, which is also fun and, in my opinion, more challenging than the demo version.
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is a really exciting game and especially suitable for those seeking games of adventures. If you decide to try this version, make sure to try other versions, too!

I use to play this game all the time during middle school. It was the funnest game ever! Don't know why, but it was fun enough to just keep going, and even after failing (had tons of experience with that) it just keeps you going back to it.
