Game Review (written by Eric) Added on: 02/05/2008
The Jill of the Jungle game is truly a classic game that hasn’t lost its charm despite having been released more than a decade ago. This game released by Epic is a fun game that is part of a trilogy of games that features the adventures of a blonde heroine named Jill. The game is a 2-D plat former that packs in great adventure and fun.
The graphics and the music are pretty good. It is an arcade adventure that will have Jill going through different locations and facing different creatures such as frogs and crocodiles and attempting to find an exit from that level.

The game has a total of 15 stages and as Jill goes through each one, different types of weapons will

be made available to her.
There are some stages that allow Jill to turn into an animal after touching the symbol of the animal. Once in animal form, Jill can transform back to human form by touching the floating word “Jill”. She will also be transformed back when she dies. There are three items that are important in the game: apples, keys and gems.
The keys can be used to open door on the map or in the different levels. The gems that you will be picking up throughout the game can be used to open gates. The apples serve as life source and replenish Jill’s life energy. When you die, you will start at the very beginning of the stage with everything back in its original place and condition. The animation and controls are good.
The game’s difficulty is average. The game is pretty good with fifteen levels, even when you explore extensively it should be pretty easy to finish the whole game.
This game can be played by the whole family from the little kids to the adults. It provides wholesome entertainment so you can download it and keep it in your PC for a very long time.
