Johnny BazookaTone Is a fun filled Action-Adventure / Puzzle game its fun and energetic and constantly brings new challenges to you as well as some good cut-scenes and also a good type of shoot em up
Your basic objective is to get to the end of the level collecting Bonus items such as colored notes and many other weird and wonderful things such as gremlins Giant sound out putters along with skeletons and also a lot more unique enemy types for you to destroy or get around/over
Your attacks and movements varies between your moods like for example if you’re in a good mood you might be more daring and attempt to go Around or over the enemies or if you’re in a particularly bad mood you can just blast straight through them
Your attacks are your basic shoot which has a minimal to moderate damage this is mostly recommended for running and gunning or just basically taking out the smaller enemies such as skeletons or even the gremlins from time to time, or your guitar strum which is a nice move for getting rid of those bigger and more annoying enemies the damage for this is nothing to Great depends on how long you hold down the strum for, this is mostly recommended for enemies which are coming towards you in a slowly fashion and then you have your hover shoot handy for pro longing your airtime and taking down all the below enemies this attack is good for getting to further ledges or taking out an unsuspecting opponent whilst also getting you closer and closer towards your main objective
The puzzles in this game vary from mushrooms that change color to give you a higher jump boost or trick mushrooms that damage you when you touch them.
another puzzle and one that took me personally a lot of time to figure out is how to defeat the sound out putters and what to do with the keys I won’t personally tell you how to do these as it will take the pleasure and the anticipation away from the game on how to do it your self.
The graphics are good for a 2-d to 3-d Side scroller which in its time was pretty much the best graphics you could get for a Playstation1 / Sega Saturn
and I would personally recommend this game for people who used to have it and want to relive their old days.
