Game Review (written by Graciemae) Added on: 11/05/2009
This used to be and still is a great old tank battle simulation game with great graphics and simple, addictive gameplay. Finding this game, installing it and starting to play brought back a lot of memories. If you like this type of game, you'll definitely LOVE this great old game! One of the best of it's kind when it was first released all those years ago and even now, hard to find another game to rival it. I used to spend hour upon hour playing K1 Tank when it first came out and thought it had been eternally lost in the mists of time, but here I am now happily reliving those times with this great free download I found.
All in all, it is still a fun and pretty simple game, They certainly don't make them like this any more :)

Make out you are alone in the desert driving your tank and being assaulted on all sides by vicious enemies . Join the fray and drive your tank through the desert learn to guide it and then just blast away maniacally at anything and everything in sight. Kill, kill, kill and kill some more until your poor hands are sore and full of giant blisters. What comes next, you may ask... well, then you have to start again :P
It's very simple to master the game, with an intro guide and lots and lots of missions, the graphics were state

of the art in it's day and still not too bad even in the 21st century!

All in all, very enjoyable, even for my seven year old who taps away frantically at every chance he gets, the little beggar. He is even better at the game than I am, so beware if you have got any kids, do not make the mistake that I did and challenge them to a contest :D hehe

This game is by all means not the finest tank battle simulator, but is up towards that height, controls are pretty easy to master on the whole and won't have your brain spinning like some I could mention here. If you like tanks, this one is definitely for you and won't let down your expectations, all you need to do is load it up, grab a large cup of coffee to steady your hands and a few donuts for the sugar rush then start blasting away like a mad man. It's fun, fun, fun all the way with K1 tank battle simulator game and as an added bonus you will think you are back in the 1980's again!
