Game Review (written by Anita1809) Added on: 01/21/2007
Magic Carpet was pretty awesome. I played Magic Carpet Plus with my brother. The graphics of Magic Carpet Plus were really kind of trippy and made you sea-sick after a while, but that was no deterrent. The worms that came out of the ground in Magic Carpet Plus were creepy and the music was pretty good too. Really old school and arcade like.
Well, Magic Carpet Plus wasn't so many arcades like with the exception of the music. Graphics wise I would probably have to describe Magic Carpet Plus as being more the animation style of those newer Disney and pixar type movies where Magic Carpet Plus's computer animated and all aspects of the coloring are multi-tonal and kind of textured rather than being complete solid color.

solid color. That gives the landscapes of the game Magic Carpet Plus a more interesting look. It’s definitely been a while since I've played the game Magic Carpet Plus, but you can tell based upon my descriptions that the game Magic Carpet Plus definitely makes a strong impression aesthetically rather than with the actual point of the game Magic Carpet Plus.
I do not remember in the least how the game Magic Carpet Plus is won or how Magic Carpet Plus is played aside from shooting the giant worm-like things. I just remembered the music of the game Magic Carpet Plus putting my brother and me into some sort of trance like game euphoria state and we could literally just play the game Magic Carpet Plus for hours or just watch Magic Carpet Plus and not really get bored or tired of Magic Carpet Plus.
Admittedly the Magic Carpet Plus is rather old school, but Magic Carpet Plus is one of those interesting types of retro-futuristic old school where the game Magic Carpet Plus appears to be trying very hard to look like it is quite advanced for it's time when really, Magic Carpet Plus just looks even more ridiculous because of that when one plays the game Magic Carpet Plus years later. It is not as though that is a bad thing though. I find it to be one of the better qualities of the game because it is so dated by the pseudo-futuristic ness of it. That quality makes it kind of endearing, and all the more addicting and inducing of nostalgia.
I would definitely recommend Magic Carpet Plus.

Played this game when I was really young. The monsters gave me nightmares. It’s funny how realistic I thought it looked back then.
