I played this DOS game in the 90's and thought that it was incredibly cool. It has 2D graphics and complex levels. You play a robotic type guy who goes through different stages, killing different enemies. As you progress you get better tools as well as harder enemies to fight and harder missions to complete.
It's been ages since I have played this and what I do remember about this game was that it was challenging. A lot of games beginning DOS or computer games are hard because they are so old.

It's been ages since I have played this and what I do remember about this game was that it was challenging. A lot of games beginning DOS or computer games are hard because they are so old. I remember the guy was blue and shot fire out of his hands. The enemies are sometimes aliens or some type of a robotic android. The levels differ between water places, tunnels,
stations, outside, underground areas, etc. There are a variety of places to travel. There are a couple of versions of Mega Man and the graphics have gotten better over time.
I suggest this game for anyone who wants to Romanesque in the past and have an old-school challenge. I don't think I ever beat this game (I personally didn't play it long enough to beat it). I have really only played the older versions of Mega Man so I wouldn't know what to tell you about those ones and how they compare to the older versions. As I am surfing through the Mega Man stuff it seems that they have updated a lot since when I have played. They have the PC versions as well as the video-games system versions. So whichever you prefer.
Old-school games are beginning to come back whether in their original form or a more modern updated version. Personally I don't even know what version of Mega Man this on is, but hopefully it is the older version that I have played. The older version of Mega Man for the PC can be compared in likeness like NES games. Old school 2D graphics, simples moves, slow progression of levels, and at times --levels that are hard just because you can't figure out the simplest thing that they are asking.
Games nowadays are hard for a lot of reasons, like: faster paces of enemies, more buttons and weapons, etc., more levels that have hidden and secret stuff. Old games are hard for the simple fact of just trying to figure out the directions. So download and this game right now!
