Game Review 1 (written by Rebecca) Added on: 01/03/2008
Metroid Redemption pc game is a fan made platform based game, it is one of the games in the series set of Metroid and definitely worth your time to check and play.
In this part of the series, Metroid Redemption you are the female bounty hunter Samus Aran slinking around SR817 in your cute red warriors outfit exploring the area trying to clear your good name from mishaps that happened in another Metroid episode.
The gameplay is good and runs pretty smoothly, all the graphics and sound effects, including music are taken from the original so they work very well and are well made for a fan based game.
Samus Aran has her trusty bazooka that shoots great balls of fire at her enemies, the space pirates and of course the Metroids. It’s actually cool to be able to make yourself into a tiny ball in order to stay clear of enemies and to fit into some really tight spots and there are a lot of weapon and suit upgrades to earn. Make sure that you do have plenty of weapons when you go up against the level bosses, the battles are great but they are hard to defeat and you need good weapons and you need to use some strategy. In my opinion the enemies (space pirates, metroids and level bosses) are some of the most awesome opponents I have come up against

in this type of game.
Another one of my favorite aspects about Metroid Redemption is the exploration and the absolute huge and vast map, I have ended up lost more than once but then again that is a good thing because it is more challenging and you find out more about the game than you would have before.
As you can probably tell by now I don’t really have anything bad to say about Metroid Redemption. I found myself playing from time to time now even though it’s a bit outdated. It is still a great game, if you like lots of action, exploration and shooting games than you will be happy with this one.

Metroid is one of the best video game series ever. Nintendo has created very good game. Plot twists you, graphics are good too.
Basically, you are Samus, an awesome warrior in a nice red suit that can shoot huge electrical balls. And that’s not even the best part. As you continue on your adventure, you can upgrade various things, to make you the ultimate video game hero. The whole point of the game - is to defeat the Space Pirates which, although, the name is very unoriginal, I personally consider some of the best enemies ever in a game. Besides the Space Pirates you have to deal with the Metroids, dangerous, life-draining aliens. But with you electrical ball bazooka by your side, they don’t have a chance.
The first time I ever played this game was when I was 10, at my aunt’s house. My cousin had the game, and after watching him play for just five minutes, I had to play too. I was absolutely hooked.
The end of this game is the best part. It is by far the biggest plot twist in video game history. But, of course, I can’t ruin it for you. Let’s just say, Samus isn’t exactly who you thought it was,. For anyone who likes action games and shooting games, this is a great one. This game is, definitely, in the top fifteen games of all time.
