The first time I played Midwinter was late at night on a cold evening in 1991 - which set the scene for the whole game really. The great thing about this game is that as you progress and build relationships you get access to more and more cool ways of getting about - from hanggliding to other vehicles. You need to be very aware of the impact of different relationships you form throughout the game - if you become friendly with one person, you may no longer be as popular with others. Overall I loved this game, and while it is a bit hard to get stared at first, once you do it is very addictive. HIGHLY recommend.
