Game Review (written by Duderific) Added on: 10/18/2006
The Goonies... a Konami production it was create in the 80's of the last century. It's probably the first game I ever played, this game has it all, in terms of an old game anyway, nevertheless it is a really nice game to have and play, if you are ever into Price of Persia this is the game for you. Its main plot is about freeing your friends from the Evil grasp of Mama and boys. Going back n' forth trying to acquire the "Scull Marked" doors key or bomb if you will, fighting off all sorts of enemies such as skeletons and rats that are scattered over the level plain.
Bombs and slingshots are left for your wise judgment to use, checking your life bar every now and then to see which state you are in. You can collect diamonds to heal up, or you can find potions that will have a similar effect, along side with many other stuff you can find in the levels such as diving suits, glasses, helmet, bullet proof vest, Pancho, candles, walkie talkie, sledge hammers and more. Along side that a lot of secret rooms that you have to unveil to find more exciting stuff and missions, not to mention three shoes to try on, the basic sneakers which are more like standard everyday shoes. Running shoes which from what name implies gives you

that quick sprint you need to get out of a situation, and last but not least the spring attached shoes which may not make you jump over high rise buildings but would do just fine in whatever situation you can find in the game.
The controls aren't that hard they are as simple as the game itself, but you have to keep in mind that you still play a game and your character could die by the simplest of mistake... so don't be as simple as the game, catch my drift ;) although the game is a nice one to play with, the music in isn't that much, with respects to the person who wrote the first review, it a bit boring and it tends to get to you when you're stuck in a level, yeah, you could get stuck in a level in any part of this game... it depends on your thinking... but it shouldn't strain your mind with much thinking, it’s still a very easy game to conquer perhaps too simple which creates a difficulty for more "Advanced thinkers" lets just leave it at that.
