Need for speed is a classic PC game. I remember playing it when I was younger. The game was really intense when you would start picking up speed and driving faster. There were a lot of things that made driving faster sick like when you would pass trees and objects you could hear the whoosh noise of the objects passing you. Another thing was how the smoothness of the track moving through the screen would also make it actually feel like you were going fast.

Actually getting a rush as you are flying through the tracks is something unique to car racing games. Also the controls were challenging when you were going faster. The handling actually changed the faster you drove.
It was very interesting to me. And made me actually try to think how they could possibly do that. I mean the programmer of the game. How could they make the game do that?
Also one of the major things I liked about the game was all of the music that was available to listen to when you played. Sometimes I would need to concentrate so hard, because the game is so challenging I would actually need to turn off the music to concentrate more on the actual racing instead of the music and the racing. But when I was more confident with the racing skills mastered over weeks of playing the game then the music was less distracting. I also really liked how the game was not solely based on a basic race track. I mean straight forward. It was more interesting how there was shortcuts and side parts off the track that were there for more of a design related realistic street race track. Which reminds me that the idea of a street race or illegal racing instead of a NASCAR style game with straight tracks. This game was different from other racing games. Not like some games that had to rely on weapons or futuristic car racing. This game was about sort of real people racing in the country side or streets. Also I liked how you could go to Japan and other countries and they didn’t just solely stay in the United States or other places. I think even some levels are in Canada. Well maybe from the country side stuff.
The environment in the game was really imaginative. I wonder if they pulled it from real world environments or just made them up as they imagined.
All in all, really good game to try.
