Thomas The Tank Engine is one of the most fantastic, famous and educational cartoons of all times. It is known world wide, especially in the United Kingdom and is very much suitable for little children of the younger ages. The story is all about a tank engine, named Thomas, who lives in a massive station on the island of Sodor. He is a six wheeled, extremely cheeky little engine with a short stumpy boiler, a short stumpy funnel and a short stumpy dome.
Thomas the Tank Engine made its first appearance in the book Thomas the Tank Engine in 1946 as a station pilot. For those of you who do not know, a station pilot is to shunt coaches and trucks for the bigger engines. Thomas's inexperience prevented him from doing the more important jobs that he dreamt of, such as pulling the express train like Gordon. One day, however, he rescued James from a horrifying accident. It was then decided by the Fat Director(now known as the Fat Controller) that he was a Really Useful Engine. Now, Thomas owns his own branch line, and I can say he is extremely proud of it. Ever since, he has been in charge of that branch line.

He has two close

friends; they are Annie and Clarabel, his two coaches. Despite various arguments, he is rather good friends with Percy the green engine. Not to be forgotten are his old friend Edward; his frequent substitute Duck; his idol (I think ) Gordon; and last but not least, Toby.

If you have children at home that are old enough to play games on a computer, I recommend this fabulous game. Basically it is a very cool dual racing game. As the engine rolls along the track, your score just keeps getting higher and higher. There are various levels and many bonuses too. The series of shows are very addictive and obsessive, and this game itself is certainly going to be a big entertainment and a great experience for anyone who chooses to download it. It has a great theme and a rather impressive story line. Sometimes the graphics of a game do not matter; it is the amount of fun obtained and overall game play that matter. This game achieves high standards although the graphics are at its basics. Overall this fantastic game is not bad and is worth trying out. It comes very highly recommended.

I have found the game fantastic and good for small children. However, key operation may a little difficult and reaction may be slow for small children, who are used to contemporary PC games.

People that downloaded Thomas The Tank Engine also downloaded the following games:

Thomas The Tank Engine 2 Dinopark Tycoon
House of the Dead, The Thomas the Tank Engine
Rick Dangerous 2
