Game Review 1 (written by Melancthe) Added on: 12/21/2008
I played the game “Vampire” when I was about seven years old, and even though I could never beat it, I really enjoyed it. It was one of the few games I could find where the main character was a girl, I liked how she was a girl because there aren’t too many games like that, especially old games.
As a younger kid the game really challenged me, in fact, I could never beat it partially because it took me such a long time and partially because I found it hard even though the controls are mainly straight forward and like most other games really.
There are some pretty intense scenes where you need to learn the controls well to play, so you learn them quickly. They’re not hard controls and you get used to them really fast, especially since you get into tight spots a whole bunch. It was really addictive, people about to play this game should know that it will consume your time, not just one of those fast and easy ones.
The graphics were good for the time, I don’t remember just how good they were but they seemed fine back when I used to play. I don’t think it would really matter if the graphics seem outdated now because it doesn’t really interfere with much if they aren’t great. The story line scared

me as a little kid but I really don’t think it is that intense if you play it older. There’s lots of magical stuff, like having to do with vampires (obviously), there’s also a whole bunch of monsters, some wizards or warlocks or mages (magical people in other words), basically lots and lots of magical stuff. You have to fight these magical things for the most part, they vary in difficulty almost randomly too. What took me a long time in doing this game was that most people are kind of easy to fight and then you get some who are a big challenge, like you have to use your mind while fighting them more than just doing it randomly.
Overall, I remember really enjoying this game, it was challenging, the story line was interesting and different, and it wasn’t just the same as every other game. If you enjoy stuff that has lots of magical stuff going on in it, like wizards and vampires, you’ll like this game. It takes up time, like some situations you have to really think about more than just rush through them, but it’s worth it in the end. Playing it when I was younger was tons of fun and I hope that people will download this and enjoy it as much as I did.

Game Review 2 (written by Kelala2) Added on: 07/23/2006
I played the game vampire. It was a fun little RPG, a lot of running. You fight random monsters, and go to different places. Woods, castle, lake, etc. You fight an array of monsters-skeletons, wizards, fishmen, dogs, and more. The game is very entertaining, as you whip things with your whip. Get chased, jump across platforms over water, swim, and collect items. You play as a girl, don’t know name, but you are riding a horse at the beginning, but I died so I don’t know. The graphics were ok for an older game. I didn’t know what was going on when I first played it though. Castelvania is a game like this, only bigger, and not a side scroller. My favorite part of the game was just running around and beating up things. Another one of my favorite parts was beating up the wizard in the beginning. That’s all.
