Instead, the WWWW has been created: the World Wide War Web, and all conflicts are to be solved
via virtual battles in this gaming zone. All of the world’s nations put forth virtual representations of their most highly decorated and elite forces and store them on this server. While this sounds like an excellent way to resolve conflicts without causing physical harm to the world’s nations and their people, the WWWW has its flaws, just like real life computing. It is subject to hacking and sabotage, just as modern programs are.
The game has some elements of strategy. The user can look at a battlefield on an overhead map, and strategically position some units. They can be told what to attack, where to move, can call in air support and can also deploy reconnaissance teams. But mainly the game play involves the user getting inside one of the units and going on a gory killing spree once everything has been set up.
There are many units involved, ranging from infantry to tanks, and each has its own strength and weakness. There are several ways to play the game from campaign mode, titled War Web, to Instant Action, which is more of quickly set up, single battle play. Multiple Wargasm that’s what it is called is the multiplayer mode of battle.
Wargasm is a hit. It features great mixes of militaristic might and tactics with all-out, lead spraying conflicts. The battle and death scenes are gory and vivid, and the action is non-stop once the field of play is set. It is a relatively short game, but there is quite a punch packed into the little program. It should provide some edge-of-the-seat game play for militaristic and shooter fans and is highly recommended for download.
