Game Review (written by Orange2424) Added on: 11/30/2006
Wings of Fury is an entertaining flying game that allows the player to easily control a jet with using simple controls to move the airplane and fire its four different weapons. The game only takes a few minutes to get accustomed to the controls of the airplane and the concept of the game. The graphics are simple however they become much more impressive as you continue the game. The larger designed aircraft carriers have impressive graphics for such a simplistic game, which adds a dimension to the game.

The campaign in the game is a decent length and allows you to pilot around in different conditions from water, to the dessert, and to mountains. It also allows you to shoot down other planes with either normal machine guns or with missiles; you are also expected to bomb enemy fire on the ground which comes at you in the form of bunkers.
You view your plane from a side angle which allows you to see the ground below you, and giving you a perspective of your height and speed. The angle at which you play does not however let you get a first person visual of the inside of the plane, even though this is a simplistic game, I wish that there

were screen shots of a cockpit before you start piloting the skies.
My overall opinion of the game is that it is one that I could sit and play for a few hours without growing tired of it. I am notoriously bias towards flight simulators and enjoy the act of piloting around a plane so I would enjoy this game. Furthermore, Wings of Fury is a game for the beginner and the expert flight simulator fan, the controls are simple and the concept of the game is easy to understand, however, this just leads to the game being more user friendly and entertaining not having to worry about a lot of controls to remember or objectives to complete.
I would definitely recommend this game to many people to play due to its level of enjoyment. I know that I will continue to play Wings of Fury and would recommend that anyone who starts playing it to give it a little bit of time so that you can become comfortable with the controls and the objective because at first glance I didn’t even want to continue playing it, however, after a little bit of time I began to enjoy the game, so stick with it. Good luck piloting the skies.

I had this game back in 1991 and played it for days on end, and would like to get it for todays computers. I have been looking for it for a long time and would love to find it.

I have spent countless hours playing this game. As the Amiga died so did this game, but we still occasionally speak bout the games at dinners with old friends. What a joy to once again dive from the sky with guns blazing!
