Worms is a fun game that offers much to laugh at. First of all the characters are tiny worms. The worms have voices to match and say multiple funny threats and such. On top of that there are a variety of weapons to harm other worms with. Just about every weapon in the game has a real life counter part (except for the exploding sheep and such).
The weapons are scaled down to fit the worms size because a human sized weapon of any kind and a tiny worm wouldn't work very well.

Each weapon does a different amount of damage because obviously a rocket launcher would do more damage than a punch. There is much the game offers to laugh at the sheep bomb
alone has made me laugh on more than one occasion because what’s funnier than blowing up your enemy with a sheep? There are random crates that drop in the game while you playing that provide you with special weapons like the air strike or flame throwers. The stages are beautifully designed and pretty colorful with a lot of stuff to destroy.
The entire stage is destructible and destroying a stage kind of adds a bit of difficulty it could completely throw off an attack, like a grenade or rocket just by making it hit a ledge right in front of you that wasn't there before because the ground was destroyed under you. Destroying too much of the environment could lead to an unintentional suicide though, so its better to be careful when attacking with explosives. When a worm dies a tombstone is left on the ground where it was. Sometimes a worm will commit suicide and blow up, damaging anyone near it and taking a decent sized chunk of land with it. The aiming system is one of the most important features of the game because if you’re off just a little bit it could mean the difference between winning and losing.
The point of the game is to survive a fight and have at least one worm left standing on your team. Although I think the developers didn't want you to win at all. The computer intelligence can range from incredibly stupid to smart enough to make you feel unworthy of playing against them at times. But the difficulty makes it more fun sometimes it’s nice to have a challenge but all together the game is fairly simple. It’s always a fun way to kill some time and get a few good laughs while your doing it.
