Game Review 1 (written by Idelhands) Added on: 12/14/2006
X-Men is a game you don't want to set down once you start playing. It keeps you going into the story line, asking yourself what’s going to be next. Even if you read and watch everything about x-men you will still be in wonder, cause of the suspense of the game.
Having the ability to control different characters is the greatest part of the game. Some of the skills that they use in the game won’t seem familiar, but you will still enjoy watching them beat down the bad guys.
The only thing that I would have negative about this game is the lack of vs battle. But the cooperative play is fun, and it gets you going in a competitive way, to see who can kill faster, the most at one time, or just most at the end.
I would recommend this game to anyone

Game Review 2 (written by Asianxcore) Added on: 08/25/2006
X-men was the stuff back then and it still is today, now that they made the movies and etc. Dude, my favorite character was definitely wolverine, he kicked butt. I played this with my cousin Robert on his Sega Genesis. He would always be Cyclopes and stuff and totally whoop my ass, but this game is awesome, with its one on one combat mode and such and such, it made the game so much effing fun to play. It's also cool to see the different combos each character has, like wolverines special slash movie. When you play the bots, they aren’t that hard to beat, and I like crushed them in like two seconds, which made this game way to easy. I played this with my cousin Robert on his Sega Genesis. You'll like playing for10 hours man, but then you would get sick of it too. But, it was still fun to play other people. So pretty much dudes in conclusion, this game is sweet, and if you get good at it, challenge your friends and play. Dude, I hope this long review helped you out a lot. So, have effing fun dudes.

Fun Game. Hours and Hours of pleasure. A must-have for any X-Men or Comic book Fans. I wish it had more characters, but you can only do so much.

Comments from the Author of VBEPlus:
"Several users have reported that loading VBEPlus and/or UniRefresh solves the problems. I have once downloaded the 8bit version of XMen and confirmed that only after loading VBEPlus the game will run. (didn't matter what resolutions VBEPlus added, as long as it was loaded did XMen run well). I am not sure why this helps."

People that downloaded X-men: Children Of The Atom also downloaded the following games:

X-Men: Madness in The Murderworld Samurai Shodown VS. MUGEN
X-Men: The Ravages of Apocalypse X-Men 2: The Fall of the Mutants
Metal Gear Solid Spider-Man And Venom: Separation Anxiety

Vote for X-Men: Children of The Atom
