Ants are an interesting card based strategy game with out of the ordinary game play technicalities. The ending of the game is a competition among beating the opposite player or destroying there castle. I believe that the finishing tasks takes a lot of thought and decision making but you have to be quick before the other player beats you or destroys your castle. The game is turn-based, which means to me that it is a game that you wouldn't ordinarily think of on your own.

This game has its own techniques and its own rules that you must follow very carefully. Here is one thing that I found interesting - the game's best part is the variety of action cards. The action cards were something that
I found very interesting. These range from ordinary actions such as build castle and attack, to more interesting actions such as beckon a dragon to demolish 20+ floors of your enemy's castles and stealing some of your enemy's resources. My favorite cards were the ones where the dragons were sent to demolish floras of my enemy’s castle. It gave me a bit of a lead on my opponent.
Stealing resources from the other player was not that great, I think that every player should have their own resources and find them on their own instead of stealing them from someone else who already worked their tail off to find in the beginning. The ability to compete against another human player makes the game a bit more interesting, although your success still depends much more on luck than on strategic skills.
I played against one of my friends, and it is a little easier to play against the computer. I mean if you play against another human its ok, but it is a little funnier playing with the computer. If you like a beer-and-pretzel strategy game which is fun for at least 5-10 minutes it takes to beat it, Ants fits the bill. When I first looked at this game I thought it was a game for some one who is a little younger than me, but once I started playing it I could not stop. This game is full of excitement, strategy, thinking, and decision making. Playing by yourself or with some one, it does not matter the game Ants is fun no matter how you play. If I would have found this game earlier it may have not made me late for work.
