Game Review (written by Wipfjustin) Added on: 02/20/2007
Sargon V used to keep me occupied for hours. The graphics are simple, but I don’t think this fact will keep you from enjoying this game. If you know how to play board chess, you’ll be able to play it here. You and the computer opponent make movements in turns.
You start the game using pawn; this is the most manifold figure in the game and the weakest one. But if you reach with the pawn to enemy’s last line of defense, the pawn can resurrect any of you perished units in sacrifice of its life, a very handy unit.

But if you reach with the pawn to enemy’s last line of defense, the pawn can resurrect any of you perished units in sacrifice of its life, a very handy unit. The knight, in my eyes, is one of the best units in the game. It must always move in an L form. It can

jump over friends and enemies alike, unless a friendly unit is sitting in its destination block. The bishop is also a very affective unit. It can go diagonal in every diagonal direction, unless a friendly unit will block it, then it must stop right beside. The queen is the best unit in the game, and the most powerful. She can move in any possible direction, and like the bishop and castle, as far ass possible. The king is the most important unit in the game and you must protect him at all costs. If you lose this unit, you’ll lose the battle. To tell you the truth, he’s almost worthless, but unlike any of the other units in the game, he has got two life’s, so if the enemy attacks him, he has still got a chance of getting away alive. But don’t try to go around the board, killing enemy units with the king, as in battle this unit is almost worthless. As he can (like the queen) move any direct direction possible, but like the pawn, can only move one space at a time. So you need to protect this unit as much as possible. The computer player can be tough the first few game, but after that, he’ll be OK.
I hope that you’ll enjoy this game as much ass I did.
