Nigel world is very similar to the Carmen SanDiego series but instead of gathering clues to catch criminals, you were sent all around the world to take pictures of things. The trick was, most of the countries you had to go were on a map that had no names. This helped the class very much with the learning of geography. We all learned what countries were where along with what people lived there, the animal and plant life, and what special sites and famous buildings could be found there.

There are about 5 different difficulty levels that can be used to change where you have to go and what pictures you need. You can start out just going to one continent and if you increase the difficulty,
you may have to visit 4 different countries and take specific pictures. This helps a lot for those starting out to experienced veterans. As you or your child learns the countries better, you can increase the difficulty equal to your skills.
The animations and sound are great for a game of this type. I always liked the little fax machine noise from this game coming from the back of the room at school. I highly recommend this game to people just looking for a fun game to play in their spare time that give them a little refresher course on geography or people who have kids in elementary school who need to learn where all the countries are. Of course, some countries have been renamed or are gone by now but you still learn a great deal about the world through this game.
The graphics are pretty similar to Carmen SanDiego but there are tons of pictures thrown in. As you take the pictures, you turn them in to your boss and they are saved in your photo album along with a tidbit of information about what that picture is.
Very educational and pretty fun to play!
