to decide where next to travel from the different clues you receive from the various places in the game, and this is sometimes even challenger for an older person, which is good as it means that parents can have a role to play in the game as well! - And they can also secretly enjoy it by themselves when there children are at school, because we know you will.
The graphics are very basic but this is only because of the age of the game and are standard for the time period. Although they are not of the highest quality, you are still able to make out what they are supposed to be, unlike some older games and they can also be quite amusing at times. Looking back the graphics and the sound quality is probably quite good, but in the present day these things can be quite irritating. The sound on the game is monotone and sometimes abrupt and this can therefore become annoying, however all it takes is a few plays through it and some getting used to and you hardly notice these features just because of the involvement that is needed in the murder mystery.
Overall this game can provide many hours of entertainment for both adults and children and although it is gone twenty years old now it is still completely playable. You can also see why it was such a good hit twenty years ago, the game has some kind of retro charismatic feel to it and they certainly don't make them like this anymore! And even if it is not your cup of tea, it doesn't hurt to at least try out the game, because I truly believe that everyone should at least experience this game once in their life.
