Endorfun was one of my favorite games. If you like games, that involve developing your logic skills, this is a great one for you. Playing Endorfun, you steer a three dimensional cube, with a different color on each side, around a plane of squares. The aim is to eliminate colored squares on the plane by rolling the cube over them and lining the color of the top of the cube up with the color of the square, that you wish to eliminate.
More squares will appear on screen and you must keep up or you may get cornered in. You may also roll over special squares, that can be worth more points or may eliminate a bunch of squares for you. For example, if you roll over a special purple square all the regular purple squares will disappear.
Along with being extremely visually stimulating, Endorfun also has great invigorating music. The music can range from the calm and tranquil type with the hum of Native American chanting in the background, to exciting and up beat with the pounding of African drums to inspire your game play. On some levels the plane appears in cool shapes like a heart or a maze. On some levels the
background is filled with psychedelic colors to make it more challenging to see the squares and/or the cube. On some levels the plane is tilted at a funky angle to step up the difficulty.
What I love, is that different levels offer different challenges. Sometimes, you are playing for score, to see how many points you can get in a certain amount of time. Sometimes, you are playing for time and you must complete a certain number of squares as fast as you can. Some levels focus on speed, while others focus on your ability to think on your feet.
It's a great game for honing your problem solving skills and raising your IQ. Although, it is a great game for all ages, I especially recommend it for children, because of the game's ability to develop the player's reasoning skills. My father, who is a math professor, is the one who first introduced me to the game. At first it was hard and made me feel a little panicky, but soon I was breaking all his high scores. Great for a rainy day or for every day play, I would definitely recommend Endorfun for all types of players.
