Game Review (written by Kkingkobra) Added on: 11/18/2006
The Incredible Toon Machine is an amazing sequel to Sierra's 'The Incredible Machine'. If one isn't familiar with the original the game is about Rube Goldberg contraptions with crucial parts left out. Goldberg contraptions are a series of complex items strung together to do something very simple.
The game consists of many of the original characters from the original game with many new ones as well! It also consists of over 60 usable items that can complex machines to do very simple things.
Like make a oil lamp light by using a mouse to turn a wheel which powers a generator which then powers a motor which spins a maze of gears and belts and that finally moves a bowling ball to fall down on a teeter-totter which then pulls a rope with and mind boggling maze of pulleys and turns on a light bulb which then light the oil lamp by a magnifying glass.
So such simple machines can take hours to create and give their inventor a feel of satisfaction beyond another game played. The fun doesn't stop there one could drop a piano on some unsuspecting character to see what happens. While the game can incorporate many cartoon concepts such as a character
Incredible Toon Machine, TheIncredible Toon Machine, TheIncredible Toon Machine, The
chewing gum starts to blow bubbles and then gets magically lifted into air. With balls that can be made to go down inclines using realistic gravity simulations.
The game consists of over 130 new levels ranging from easy to expert. The game also consists of a one on one mode where you and a partner take turns trying to make a contraption, where the person who achieves the goal wins! Or make your own custom levels and try them out in the game mode called "Hometoons" This offers a variety of different options as you create intricate puzzles for your friends to solve.
The game overall is an amazing invention with the interactivity of the user and the computer. The work down ads more cartoon-like effects to make it more entertaining, and it truly is. This game will bring fun for many hours as you try to complete the puzzles. This game is that last instalment to the game "The incredible Machine" by Sierra. It is a pity such a series of game didn't make it that big. This game will be one of the best games puzzle games that I have ever played.

I got this game when Windows 95 first came out and it really was incredible. Not only were the puzzles challenging, but they were also very fun and funny too.

Its amazing how a classic game cheats time, I first played this game a thousand years ago and literally got hooked on it. Now years later looking through my first compressions and backups found it (couldnt decompress it due to old compressor). To my surprise everybody at work thought it was a brand new game (I must say my coworkers are younger than me) and they loved it, therefore a classic its a CLASSIC.

I was always into this sort of "think-a-lot" games, and this is one of my favourites ever.
