Game Review (written by Eric) Added on: 03/13/2008
Jeopardy Junior Edition is a video game based on the popular TV game show Jeopardy. The game is targeted for a young audience children aged 7 and above. Even adults can play the game if they find the adult version of the game too difficult. The TV game show and its computer versions are all fun because it is a trivia quiz show that measures your general knowledge on a wide range of categories from American history to movies.
If you are familiar with the TV game show then you should know by now that the game involves three players competing against each other in guessing the right questions to the given answers.
A player must first choose a box from any of the five boxes under each of the six categories. Behind a box with a corresponding dollar amount is an answer. A player must be quick to hit the “buzzer” so he can spell out the question that corresponds to the answer that was provided. When he gives the right answer he is given the chance to choose the next box under any category. There is a time limit for giving the question.
In the final round, a random category is given and all the players must place a bet. The player can only bet the money that he has earned in the game. After all the bet is in place the answer

will be revealed and all three players will write in their questions. The final winner will be the one who has the biggest amount of money after the bet has been deducted or added to the person depending on if he was able to give the right question for the answer or not.
There game has three difficulty levels. If you play alone, the two players will be played by AI. One of the problems kids may encounter in the game is how you need to type in your answer given a very strict time limit. Younger kids may not have the typing skills to provide the answers fast. The answers must also be spelled correctly.
The game has good graphics that are fun and colourful and appropriate for its target audience. The game is a fantastic game for children because it is fun and also very educational. I think it’s a game that is worth downloading because it can be shared by all the members of the family.
