Lemmings 2 is a great game that needs not the skill of a master but the simple interest of an enthused viewer.
The format remains the same having to negotiate the Lemmings through various obstacles but it is still good fun for the whole family. Although there are new skills and the absence of others there is also a wide range of techniques that can be used that were no available in the previous versions. This newer versions also has a greater colour scheme and therefor is able to attract the attention of those that would normally just walk on by and take no notice of such a game.
It is a strong sequel to the previous game and may have the same story line but does have many new and exciting features that will be shown to the viewer as they progress through the game. But what many people do not realise is that there is a strong message that comes through this game and that is that no matter what the people around you are doing, you still need to be your self and an individual so that you will not one day walk off a cliff to your death. Of course that isn’t literally but then in some cases it could be. It all really comes down to the individual.
The other good thing is that there are 10
levels in this version and you can choose form 12 different tribes to play as. After playing as all 12 tribes and safely getting them through the 10 levels you will receive a medal. Being it gold silver or bronze. The good thing is that this version is more lenient than the previous game due to the fact that you do not need to save all the lemmings in each level to be able to complete it successfully.
There are some fun additions such as hand gliding which requires both good timing and a sharp eye so that you can safely negotiate the lemming from one level to another.
