Sherlock Holmes. The famously keen-eyed detective who solves cases with the greatest of ease. He and his partner, Dr. Watson, were created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. They have entertained people for ages in books and now can entertain you on the computer! This Sherlock Holmes game is a pretty good download. There is not a lot of information on it out there on the internet, though. You mainly use your mouse as your controller.
At the beginning of each new case a video clip shows Holmes and Watson meeting their client and establishing some background clues and facts about the case.
The player must go to a certain location or go to see a certain person or read one of the London newspapers to find important clues or they have to ask one of the Baker Street inhibitors questions about anything they know to investigate.
The object of this game is: for each case, you have to gather enough clues in the smallest amount of time possible. Then you have to go before a judge. The judge will ask you important questions about the case and you have to answer them. If you are right, another video clip plays. This video clip will take you back to Holmes' and Watson's Baker Street study where they then proceed to go over the events that
happened and to make sense of everything. Finally, Dr. Watson tells you what your score is. Your score is based on how fast you solved the case and how accurately you answered the questions that were asked to you by the judge. In this volume, there are three particular cases.
The first case, "The Mummy's Curse", is about the bloody deaths of three men. The men were supposedly killed by an ancient mummy with evil, cursed powers. The second case, "The Mystified Murderess", is about a woman who was convicted of killing her boyfriend. However, she can't remember killing him and believes that she is truly innocent. The third and final case, "The Tin Soldier", is about an old war general. His troubled past returns and haunts him. Then suddenly, the old war general mysteriously turns up dead. Is his haunting past to blame? You will find out when you play this Sherlock Holmes Game. If you enjoy it in any way, then leave good comments or leave hints or tips to help future players.
