Textris will always be one of the greatest video games ever developed. Not only is it a addicting game but also can be mind challenging for all ages. There is always an endless supply of puzzles to do and if one gets board they can always find a partner and play with them. My experience with textris was only on the Nintendo back in the early 90's I later would discover so unique spin offs of textris like Dr. Mario which is a neat version to play if you like puzzle games.

The down side to playing this type of game is that it has little room for change. You can only have some much fun moving blocks into neat
little rows. It is one of those games you play and play until your sick because everyone just has to get to that next level. I the 2 player mode it allows for a bit of a challenge cause you are always trying to make your opponent mess up. But even that can become very mind bogleing after hours of play.
Surpriseingly Testris has made it though the years onto the Playstation and even onto the PS2 giving some of the older people a reminder of what games were and a way to show young ones what they played when they were young. That is if your not over the age of 50.
Today textris is popular still. When ever I get a version of it both myself and anyone in my family wants to get in on the game. This is one of those games I feel we will see for many years to come even with the videogame market growing as big as it is. It probly will not become a all time best seller but I can see old and new generations picking up a copy now and then just to test their skills at a very simple game.
Tetris proves that complicated games are not necessarily better. Sometimes going the simple route gets the most people playing. Even though video games are targeted at a younger age sometime adults just want simple fun games they can share and learn with their kids with out having to take a class to learn how to play them. Some adults say video games are bad but never discover puzzle salving games like tetras. If they only new of the block dropping addictive game that even they can not set down.
