Triazzle is a marvellous experience into the rainforests of South America. With astoundingly lifelike pictures and animation and authentic jungle sounds and pleasant music, it is truly a joy to experience.
I have only played the free version up till now, but I was and am thoroughly impressed with not only the graphics and music, but also the deceptive simplicity of the game. The player is given a triangular puzzle frame with all of the triangular pieces intact. When the game begins, all of the pieces are randomly distributed around the periphery of the board.

The player’s job is to place tem back not only in the correct spaces but also in the correct orientation to one another. This can be quite a bit
harder than it first appears, as many of the puzzle pieces have identical or quite similar images on one or more sides. Only the correct piece will do in each space, but it also has to be oriented correctly or it will not work. Since every piece is precisely the same size and shape, there is universal exchangeability among the pieces.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this puzzle for several years. It can take from 5 minutes to a couple hours to solve. The premise is simple enough for a five year old to understand and challenging enough for this 61 year old man with an IQ high in the genius range to be challenged repeatedly. It is so variable that the player does not easily tire of it (though sometimes I do get frustrated and walk away from it, but I always come back and finish it later.
The trail version that I have been playing for all of this time has only one basic image – the pictures are of rain forest frogs in a jungle. When the player does finally complete the puzzle there is a surprise and a wonderful reward. The frogs magically come to life and hop around the board, then they hop off the board, all the time to the exotic music and the occasional jungle rainstorm.
This game does not have any of the ‘flash bang’ or fancy special effects we often see in today’s popular games, and no one gets shot, stabbed, run over or mutilated. It is simply a really nice graphic and music package with a simple but challenging (and ever-changing) puzzle guaranteed to challenge the brightest player.
