Tritryst is a classic game and an older game. It is quite similar to Tetris and it is nothing like the games that seem so popular and accessible these days in the stores. It's definitely not an action packed or an overly complicated type of game, which I find refreshing. However, if that's the kind of game you like, you probably won't like this. The competition is that after a while it's hard to find places to put your tiles on the grid, and you have to plan ahead better in order not to be in that situation as early.
The better your strategy gets the longer you can keep putting up the tiles and finding places to fit them. It’s fun when you get so good at it that you can make multiple groups of three disappear rather than just squeeze in a tile or only make one set disappear. You get the idea.
I played the game years ago and for a long time couldn't remember the name and was so frustrated looking for it. I just remembered the jewel like tiles and the corny music. You get into a groove when you're playing it so that you make decisions very intuitively and it just gets more and more relaxing as you play it. Finally, I found the game again while
I was searching on better search engines.
When I'm into the game, I've played it over and over again. Sometimes I need to take a rest from it for a while. Too much of a good thing can make you not want to play it. However, after a while I find my old addictive feelings for the game come back and I want to play it. I used to have it on an old disc which does not work well so I had to search for it on this download site.
I find this game to be one of those games that are as addictive a game as I've ever played. It's relaxing and easy to play while also watching T.V., talking with someone, or even listening to music. It's very logical and you get the feeling you're learning to play it better by playing it, without much mind clutter as you do so.
I hope they keep on making the game available as computers get more advanced. The difficulty is that on many versions, you must have DOS or an older windows operating system.
