Albion is a wonderful game & I would recommend this game to anyone that just loves rpg games. This game came out in 96 and it was my first game I ever played on the PC. The graphics for Albion are pretty decent. The story starts kind of slow, and is kind of dumb at the beginning, but it's interesting to say the least. You basically land on some planet with an alien race that you explore. The map is quite large, and alive.
Insects and enemies are wondering around everywhere. It is a kind of game that you just have to keep playing and you will start to enjoy it.
The story gets better further through the game. There are also puzzles to do in Albion that can be a little hard but not complicated enough where you will want to pull your hair out. For a 96 game the graphics were pretty decent kind of reminded me of the divine divinity rpg game. All in all I would give the graphics 19/25. The worst thing about this game is the sound I found it not the greatest. It could be better, after a while I wanted to turn off my speakers I
would give the sound score 15/25. But the sound isn’t the worst I have heard.
The best in this game is the game play. The game play is a lot of fun and the story gets better & better further through. This is one of the rpg classics. It’s almost as good as Diablo 1 or 2 but falls short a little. Game play score 22/25.
Last would be the value for this game. Even though the chance of even finding this game in a game store is pretty slim but this game would still be worth every penny if you’re a huge rpg lover like me. Value score 21/25.
My total score for this fun and pretty adventures game is 7.7 . anyhow for anyone that are an rpg fan and want to sit down & play a game that is good but does have its problems here & there. But every game has that. Try this game and if you start off hating it just keep playing it does get better further through. Anyhow I’m not the greatest at reviewing games but I tried my best and I hope I gave a good enough review here, for all the rpg lovers out there. Happy gaming.
