Game Review 1 (written by Eric) Added on: 01/13/2008
It features the vampire Kain, an arrogant creature who slaughters other living creatures. He is an unlikely protagonist but he is charismatic and although the game is full of violence and gore is still one of the most well-made and intense RPG there is. It is quite an ambitious game that does make the cut. It features terrific graphics, is supported by great sound effects and has one of the most imaginative storyline among all the role playing games.

bats or even a cloud through the use of spells. This is a most important ability as changing form is essential in being able to live the vampire’s lair and be able to communicate with different creatures and also be able to deal with the different obstacles in a level. So the player must learn when to shape-shift and when to use a particular weapon.
As Kain goes about his business in Nosgoth (under your control of course) he can use a spell or an item to cause harm to his enemy and drain the enemy of its blood. Kain’s life energy will get drained unless he consumes the blood of another creature. The game will let you do a lot of explorations and battles against creatures for the sake of Kain’s life.
One of the game’s highlights is the beautifully made backdrops and 3D characters. The game also features a colored light that will be very useful to you in the game because it is what you use when you are looking for secret passages and other items that are hidden in the dark. Another great feature of the game is the voice acting. The narration and the voice acting certainly got you gripped in the dark theme of the game. The sound completed the ambiance of the game.
The controls are pretty smooth and easy you just need to use a keyboard or a pre-programmed game pad. It takes a little bit getting used to at first but once you get the hang of it, you will have a very easy time.
The only downside to the game is how you can not save the game at any part of the game, you can only save in specific locations. Over-all this is a great game that will leave you satisfied. Download it now and enjoy.

Game Review 2 (written by Plumtuckerd) Added on: 02/19/2007
This game is the most intricate and mind blowing game I have played. I played this game for the first time about 3 years ago. It becomes more interesting, but increasingly hard in high levels. I love the special moves, you can do and the fact, you can take on so many opponents at one time. The graphics make it seem like it is happening right in you living room or bed room. They look like real people. The weapons in this game are cool too. There is always something new coming up or a new person to kill. If you have never played this game I advise giving it a try. There is something interesting in it for everyone. I like games, that make you think a little bit, you know, use your brain. And this one is the best for this.

This is one of my favorite games I even owned it for Playstation. You start as a vampire whose goal is to avenge his own death.
