Zelda Classic, its name says it all. It’s Zelda and a classic. The gameplay is simple and not complicated. It had a good replay value which you will do. You will love the classic so much that you will go out and buy the other Zelda games. This was the first game I ever bought. It was for my old yucky big game boy. And I loved it. I just couldn’t put it down. The puzzles were fun to solve and the characters were memorable, especially that big flying whale in the end.

It looked pretty damn good for black
and white pixelated graphics. I would recommend this game for any age group, whether it is for a kid or an old adult. Well not that old, they need to be able to see the screen. I love the whole concept about finding the mystical items to awaken the creature you need to return home. Of course the name Zelda may be a bit misleading, since the main characters name is indeed not Zelda but Link. Who I may add is a very cute character. The character interactions in the game are also very fun to read and the story line is the best. It’s not trite and it captured me when I was a kid. If I could find my old game boys and my Zelda I would be playing it right now. But unfortunately we grow up and now college where all the action is at. I loved playing all the other Zelda games too. The one with the instruments and the one for N64, I love the part where you ride on the horse and you collect apples to make the horse go faster. Well I'm getting off topic here. Back to Zelda Classic. I bet if you ask anyone about Zelda they would know what you’re talking about. It’s like a household name already. When I have kids I will make my kids play Zelda, why deprive them of such a classic. If teaches them problem solving skills as well as dexterity. Some of the moves in the game require mad skills. Like the boots with the little wings and that part where you gotta jump over those huge holes. Man, that was some mean stuff. I had to try like 10 times to get over that super long hole. But I made it and eventually I finished the game. I highly recommend this to anyone of any age, gender, and whatever. Play it, have fun and don’t die.
