A very detailed and realistic game. A novice can jump into the cockpit and fly with little knowledge of the controls. Experts will love the depth of available options and controls. Very realistic systems and flight. Also, very thorough tutorials are available. And with missions editor you can fly an unlimited number of sorties. Great for all flight sim/combat sim buffs.
Training scenarios take you from the basics of straight and level flight all the way through tactics of combat. Lessons include oral descriptions with video, and are followed up with training flights.

Also good for experienced players to review.
Missions span from easy to quite difficult. Theatres
vary from carrier operations at sea to inland ground assault. The F/A-18 is capable of air to air and air to ground profiles. Many missions will require you to employ both. The player can select missions that are purely air to air battles with other fighters or bomber intercepts. Or the player may select a ground attack mission where they will have to destroy an enemy target.
Enemy units range from fighters and bombers, to tanks, surface to air missiles, or anti aircraft artillery. Units' aggressiveness, skill, and intelligence are all variable. Friendly units are just as diversified. At least one wingman will accompany you on most missions.
Overall, F/A-18 Korea is a very in-depth game. However it is also a very rewarding game. The new user may feel a bit overwhelmed at first. But those who stick with it and utilize the training scenarios will enjoy many hours of enjoyable gameplay. And with mission editor there is no limit to the number or type of sorties you may fly in your career. Interface is straightforward and logical. Definitely a good choice for the novice gamer as well as the hard core flight sim user.
The only weak point I have seen is poor quality of sound and graphics. These however do not detract from gameplay.
