Game Review 1 (written by Ladyadonia25) Added on: 04/12/2007
Great Naval Battles 5 is a very interesting naval strategy game. It combines the visual elements of the ships with multiple command screens for a more realistic feel. The overall concept of the game is great.
The simulated three dimensional screens are exceptionally advanced for this generation of gaming and give the program a real periscope feel in terms of simulation quality. The strategy map on the screen also helps with pin pointing possible targets to attack. Multiple targets can be easily identified and fired upon, if the player is skilled in the gameplay.

The game itself is not very difficult to master, and not too much time needs to be devoted to increase one's skill level pertaining to using the different commands within the interface.
I
Great Naval Battles 5
recommend downloading the game and playing it less frequently, than you normally would, so that it retains some of the new and exciting feeling of playing a new game and remaining involved in it. You want to make sure that the game does not lose its value in terms of entertainment and excitement, so make sure that you take some time away from engaging in the different scenarios, so that it does not lose its intrigue.
The gameplay is, certainly, the best part of this game, and I would, certainly, recommend it to anyone who is interested in strategy games, military activity, naval maneuvers and fighting in general.

Game Review 2 (written by Axeb0utme) Added on: 04/07/2007
I was surprised playing this game on a couple of things. I was happy with the cool view from the ship and being able to watch the other ships from inside mine. I thought that was cool and well done. I also thought the gameplay was outstanding for website based game. This is a great way to kill time and whenever I’m bored I may happen to come back and play this game.
The gameplay in the game was awesome. Being able to look straight out of your ship and being able to see out into the ocean and see the other ships is for sure very exciting. But I think there should have been some kind of twists and turns to make story more exciting and dramatic. A great idea would be to make this game 2 players somehow. That would be really cool to have one person on one side and one on the other. I think that if you did it well, it would make the game much more entertaining and popular.
Overall this was a good game and is for sure worth your time if you have nothing else to do.
