Game Review (written by Btucker327) Added on: 03/25/2007
This is one of the most interesting games I have played recently. I started playing this one expecting it to be fairly boring, as many simulation games are. You really have to have the right personality to play most types of simulation games. However, that premise is totally off considering the gameplay of this excellent simulator.
When I first started playing this one, I was absolutely amazed. This is a game that I thought I would really only be playing for an hour or so until I found something else more exciting, but I found myself losing hours on this game.
The difference between this game and other simulation games is the gameplay and also the level of interaction between the player and the actual gameplay. Most types of simulation games out there today focus on pure realism to interest the potential buyer. However, this is not the case in Microsoft Space Simulator.
Although the gameplay and graphics are fairly realistic, there is a lot more interaction and the interface is better. Instead of making decisions every once in a while and then seeing them carried out later, there is a lot more interaction. If you are one of those people that loves the concept of space and wants a game that combines that aspect of humanity with the reality of our human limitations

as far as outer space is concerned, then this is definitely the game for you. I highly recommend it. Although most simulation games tend to focus on more terrestrial topics like aircraft or different scenarios of government, there are in fact other space simulators that have been made. However, I find most of these others to be very unrealistic.
All in all, this is a great game. I hope you enjoy it!

I think it is kind of hard, but i loved every single part of it. I recommend it to everyone!

Found it difficult at first, grew to like it the more I played it. Have played many games that were far worse and a few that were far better, but seemed to fall in the above average area for play and usability. Give it a try, have fun.

It really gets kids to learn about the solar system and the Milky Way. It's like you’re the first person to see all of the planets in the solar system this is a very cool game! The best!

This is a nice game with lots of nice graphics. Sound is pretty good and replay ability is good too. Overall I give this game 7.5
