Operation Overlord is a World War 2 flight simulator. You have a home base, in which all your missions take place. To access missions you need to go into a briefing room. There, on the map you’ll see the targets i.e. taking out bridges, trains, mansions and so on. Some missions also require you to escort bombers. The planes, you fly, are mainly Spitfires or Hurricanes.
I loved playing this game on the Amiga. I even bought an extra megabyte of RAM to get the sound working witch, at the time, was extremely good.

I loved playing this game on the Amiga. I even bought an extra megabyte of RAM to get the sound working witch, at the time, was extremely good. The roar of the engine, the sounds of the bullets were really cool. The graphics in this game at the time were very good. If you flew up
to an enemy airplane, you could actually see the pilot looking at you. You could also see the trains from a great height, the explosions and so on. The graphics of the landscape were so good, that I just liked flying around looking for targets.
Although, this game is rather old, if you’re a real fun of the genre, you’ll like it.
