I used to love this game not sure if it will still be as good now. But I remember thinking the sky looked very cool! Some of the missions can be quite difficult. I would play the same one over and over again. I remember the explosions being very life like but at the same time seemed like they were almost made out of a picture. Not sure how they did that. You get to change to many different ships and you can choose which one is your favourite.

I remember thinking that the smaller ones were more nimble while the larger ones were much slower at turning but they also held a lot more ammo.
In this game you are working
in the south pacific and fighting the Japanese I believe that in the end you win the war but who knows really I never actually finished the game. I remember it being very difficult to sink the destroyers but a lot easier to sink the cargo boats. The destroyers will chase you once you have attacked the cargo boats so you should always try and sink them first and then go for the cargo boats you will find it much easier to do after that point.
Of course perhaps the best part of the game was when you got to use your periscope and could watch the torpedo stream towards your target and eventually blow them up. I remember this game fondly but at the same time since I never finished it I wonder was it actually good or am I just thinking it was good because at the time it was the best submarine game I had ever played.
Still you should download it for the sheer fun of sinking boats over and over again. And remember to shoot them from the side and not the front, also remember to time your shots so that they have not sidled past your boat by the time you fire or you will just waste all your torpedoes.
Anyways the last thing I will say about this game is that the music was cool if you had a kicking adlib system which at the time was the best thing you could have at least until the soundblaster came out. So yeah definitely download this game, you will enjoy it for at least 20 minutes until you bore of it and play another submarine game though I can't name one.
