If you are looking for a fun, yet simple game, then Simtower is it. It’s 2D, as most sim games. The games point is to build a tower, and to place the cathedral piece on top completing your tower. But, to get there, you must overcome obstacles. You start out with absolutely nothing but dirt. You can only build a few things like offices and condos. I personally like to build a lot of offices, but that is me. You have a few things you need to complete to get more objects to build, but with more objects comes more challenges.
Like, if you have mass amount of people, but you can’t build a parking garage, no one complains. But, as soon as you have the ability, people become angry and if you don’t build quick enough, then they leave. This game, I have spent 30+ hours on, and I am currently playing it again. Out of all the sim games, this is in the top 5.
The graphics in this game are like most sim games, so you should expect them to be similar. It’s hard to judge gameplay because there’s not really any gameplay, its a sim game. Basically you place what you want, where you want it, and if people don’t like it, they’ll appear red. And if you don’t fix it with in a short

time, they leave. So lots of strategically placed elevators are needed. I personally like these games because you control everything. In simtower, you can raise rent, the amount when you sell a condo, place cleaning services, garbage places, shops, anything and everything you would need to build a tower and have it survive. But, the hardest thing in my opinion is to make money. It’s very easy to go over budget. Like, if you spend all your money and you show a profit loss of 1million at the end of the quarter, you’ll be hurting for a long time trying to recover from it. But, on the other end, it’s also easy to stay afloat. Office buildings are great for weekdays, and restaurants and shops are great for weekends. Overall, this game is awesome. I’d give a 9/10 if I had to give numbers. There are a couple small things I didn’t like, but, it doesn’t have a direct impact on the game itself. Like, certain things can’t be destroyed once they are place. But, if you pay attention, that wont matter. Like, if you wait and place it exactly where you want instead of what I do, just place it where ever it looks good. But, like I said, this game is 9/10. A game that should be played, especially if you like sim games.
