Who doesn’t love a good helicopter simulation game, especially if it’s a good old classic from around 1988? For both the Commodore 64 and the personal computer running the MS DOS operating system, Super Huey II is a two dimensional chopper sim that was both published and developed by the Cosmi Corporation. It plays from the classic first person perspective, pretty classic for flight sims both then and now.
Super Huey II is a mission driven flight simulation game, and you will partake in many sorts of flights.
There are pretty straight up combat missions, as well as POW rescue missions. You will have a simulation of the Middle East in Gulf of Terror and will have an arctic rescue mission with some interesting terrain. You can battle an oil blaze and fly the Bermuda Triangle…if you are good enough.
Super Huey II is fun, but it is not a game based on any sort of realism. It instead focuses on arcade style action, with fast game play, and a lot movement. You will need both quick wits as well as quick reflexes to survive these many missions. Tactics, strategies and an overall

knowledge of flight physics can’t hurt, but overall they are not going to be very beneficial to you in this shooter style of sim.
