Game Review 1 (written by Rebecca) Added on: 01/06/2008
Wolfpack is a decent WWII naval combat submarine simulation game. I did spend hours with this game and would recommend it for a free download.
One or two players can play Wolpack, I prefer to play 1 player. All the fun ships are there waiting for your command, U.S. destroyers, German U boats or Allied merchant ships and destroyers, you have the chose to decide which side you want to command.
The difficulty of the game depends on how you choose to play, the more ships you take on in your fleet obviously the harder the level of play will be and you will also have more tasks to perform.

difficult level.
Wolfpack, for its time actually have good graphics and they are still pretty decent. You have twelve scenarios or you have the ability to create your own, to get through any of them basically depends on you jumping from one ship to the other giving commands, but strategy does play a huge part in whether you are successful or not. In Wolfpack you can play in real time or you can set it to go faster which helps you get your ship farther than real time but when something need s your immediate attention the game will automatically go back to real time which is a really nice feature.
Wolpack is a good game and can provide you with lots of good entertainment, there are better games out there of this type but it still has the ability to suck you right in and make you feel just like a naval commander. I would recommend Wolfpack for a good free download.

Game Review 2 (written by Outtaluck) Added on: 03/09/2007
It was the best, most addicting, action-packed game, I've ever played. It was AWESOME!!! This game was a blast to play with your friends. You can play as either the u-boats or the tankers or destroyers. The u-boats have a maximum depth they can go, (200M) and show damage when you get hit, (with depth charges, RBU's, etc.) The object of submarines is to destroy the enemy convoy, full of tankers, cargo ships and destroyers. Commanding the submarine is the most realistic part of gameplay, because you need to think, if you want to win.
If you choose the Allied side, it is more difficult to play. You're the target, try not to sink. The destroyers are around you. Their objective is to protect you. The destroyers will find the subs, if they can, so you’ll have a chance not to be destroyed.
All in all, this is a pretty good game. The graphics are superb for it's time. Nice mouse intuitive interface, point and click method is especially nice. During first few minutes you need to get used to control, but after about five minutes, everything will be fine.
Wolfpack is very good submarine simulation game. I highly recommend it to play. You’ll like it.
