Yoot Tower

Genre: Simulation    |     Year: 1999    |     Publisher: Sega    |     Developer: SEGA Corporation
Game Review (written by Dfgreen) Added on: 10/09/2006
Yoot Tower is a simulation game that allows you to build a virtual sky scraper. It is supposedly the sequel to Sim-Tower but it is basically the same with hundreds of new and improved extra features for you to add to a tower. If you have played Sim-Tower, and enjoyed it you will probably like this one because there are loads more options making it much more complex exciting to play.
The aim is to build a tower that satisfies all of your tenants, office workers, residents, and hotel guests whilst trying to make profits.
You must do this by providing them with adequate access (elevators and stairs etc.) and other facilities they may need (restrooms etc.). With loads more features you have to keep asking yourself, should I put this here or that there? And what will those tenants think if I take this away or add one of those? If you don’t satisfy your tenants they will leave your tower making it much harder for you to make any money and continue expanding your tower into the clouds.
There are three worlds which you can build your tower (or towers. The new sky bridge option allows you to connect towers together). These are Hawaii, Tokyo and Kegon Falls. Each one has different options, advantages and disadvantages.

One only allows you to build 2 stories up and 32 stories below ground whereas one lets you build 100 stories up and only 10 stories under ground, one only gives you $2,000,000 to build with but another gives you $10,000,000. They also all have different weather conditions and features that are exclusive to that world. This means you have to think carefully when you are choosing which world to build your sky scraper in as the weather will affect what visitors come to your tower and consequently, how much money you earn each month.
To finish off, Yoot Tower is an excellent game to play; if you like simulation games and have a lot of patience. It will take a long time for your tower to grow and at times it can get a bit repetitive and consequently boring. You also have to remember that all businesses, whether they are real or virtual, have their ups and their downs so quitters will definitely fail at this game.
Although if you are failing as a tower manager, here is a little hint, press Ctrl, Alt, Shift and D at the same time to add a bit of money to your account.

I remember this, I bought it at a thrift store a while back. I loved it. I reccomend this to people who love playing games like Sim City, Sim Copter, and Sim Tower. I haven't played Sim Tower in years, but from what I remember, this is much better.

More interesting and engaging than simtower. This has hours of fun in store for you. You won't get bored playing this game. There are more rooms able to be built and the graphics are really good too.

This game is a little more complicated than the original and hence requires more patience and thought and can take longer to complete. If you are after a quick fun game then try the original. If you like more things to plan and do then try this one.

It is a pretty good game, I'd argue that it is even better than Sim Tower.

People that downloaded Yoot Tower also downloaded the following games:

SimTower SimFarm for Windows
Transport Tycoon Deluxe Oregon Trail Game
True Love Constructor
