Game Review (written by Tfrock) Added on: 07/28/2006
This is a great football game for college fans. It came out in 1993 as a 6-disk set by Micro Sports, Inc. You could also purchase an additional disk that had many great college teams of past eras. Some of the teams included on this disk were the great Nebraska, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Penn State, and other power house teams from the 40's to the 80's. It even had the Syracuse teams from the 50's with Jim Brown and Ernie Davis.
You could modify the players and make yourself any player that you wished.

is that it included all the division I football teams. You could choose any team and play the entire season or the computer would simulate games for you. You could check the Top #25 rankings each week to see where you were. The game also maintains in depth stats for the entire NCAA. You could keep track of all your team stats on offense, defense, and special teams. You can also view NCAA college football records and set new ones yourself.
It's all in this game, everything from the wishbone to the wing-t. Granted, the graphics from that time weren't as spectacular as they are in games today but the features that were included in this game far surpassed anything else that came out until then. I personally haven't found a college football game since that I felt was comparable. The game is very easy to set up and play. You don't need 50 megs of memory or the latest and greatest video card to play it either. Don't misunderstand me though the graphics in this game are very good. You just have to keep in mind that this game came out over ten years ago.
All in all, I highly recommend this game to any football gamer, especially those that love college football. Download this game and enjoy it. You won't be sorry. I also had the good fortune to purchase Micro Sports Inc's NFL Pro League Football game and the 80's decade disk. It was equally as good and highly recommended for the NFL fan.

This is a great game for college football fans. It doesn't have the flashy graphics that the newer games do but it came out in 1993. I still have my original disks for this game but have lost my manual. Many of the games that came out around this time required the manuals for password protection. My nephews and I have played this game for hours & hours and have yet to find a college game that we enjoyed as much. Tim
