Game Review (written by Minime67821) Added on: 06/03/2007
American Gladiators is an average, yet addicting game that is worth the download if your looking for something fun to play. So-so graphics and a horrible control graphics are my main complaints. However, these problems can easibly be rectified by simply changing the control layout or changing the monitor colors, contrast. etc.
Some of the games are fun yet others are plain boring and can be quite annoying. My personal favorites were the eliminator and that one where you have to run around while dodging tennis balls being shot at you by three hundred pounds of anabolic steroids.
However some games were poorly thought up such as the one where you’r on the ramp and the other guy is on a different ramp and you have to run and dodge obstacles and jump over stuff while not getting killed by the ripped athletes. The one where you have to hit your opponent with the giant tip looking stick is quite fun.
I first played this game for a half an hour. Its quite an addicting game. Obviously, the characters are lame and generic due to the fact this is quite an old game. But what do you expect with genesis era graphics and due to the fact Nintendo processors suck compared to the top of the line ground

breaking machines we have today, its no big deal. All in all it’s a good game to download if one is bored and needs a way to relieve hours and hours of stress into a game that means nothing.

This game has always been a classic, though not too many people know about it. The graphics aren't, of course, the greatest, but the fact that this game is made after a fun, though corny, American TV giant: American gladiators. It is fun, over all, though at times it can be boring. Definitely a must try.

People that downloaded American Gladiators also downloaded the following games:

Civilization Super Munchers
Theme Park Rambo 3
Holiday Island Sensible World of Soccer 96-97

  Vote for American Gladiators
