Game was released in the mid 90's. Great 3d shooter game. It’s sort of like a twisted metal type game but with futuristic motorcycles. You get to design your own levels. The game’s levels are very big with a lot to discover in them. You get to design the colour and attributes of your cyberbike. The music and effects are fantastic. It’s a very fun game to just drive around too. The levels have some pretty sick obstacles and jumps. I remember playing this game as a kid and I still own the actual cd.
This is one of the first games I've seen with really good cinematography. A complaint I’d have on the game is that you don’t really get to choose any other style of bike. The graphics are very bare with no detail other than the scenery and sky. The colours are very low but the game runs very smoothly. From far away you can’t see some objects, so I guess the distance view isn't all that great, but hey this game was released in like 95.
If you can ignore the poor detail you’re gonna love this game. I believe this game has the multiplayer option as well. Starting the game you get a mission displayed in text. You can choose your level that you want.
You basically just complete the mission and then have your assistant pick you up in the plane. Another complaint is your ammo runs out, so when you’re out of ammo you have to drive around looking for bullets.
To think positive, this game has great camera options. You can have a floating camera pretty much. You can also have hot keys for different angles of your bike. This game can be run in first and third person view. You can also run from a top view as well. It’s actually a pretty difficult game. The enemies are extremely hard to hit because they are so fast. Your gun only shoots in one direction which makes it hard as well. For this game being as old as it is, I give it thumbs up for being a great 3d game for its time. I’ve actually never beaten this entire game, but I definitely plan to!
