F1 Manager is a really good game. I will review the graphics, game-play, difficulty rating and other thing in this review.
Graphics: The graphics are average in this game and it doesn’t really have any 3d images. It is all 2d images but that is okay because loading time is almost nothing. Because this game doesn’t have the F1 license the logos are fake, but you can usually tell what companies the sponsors are and what team the logo is: Ferrari is still a red/yellow with a horse but is modified so it’s not the same.
Game-play: Game play is good because you really can do so many things such as get sponsors, design parts (can last u for hours), do test runs, do races, qualifying, and practice. You can also hire drivers; hire mechanics, designers and stuff like that. The races are really fun as you can set the drivers aggression to how fast they should race. Racing too fast may cause a crash so you have to choose among speed and safety.
Difficulty: The difficulty is pretty hard to master. You have to make sure you don’t run out of money, buy all the correct parts for the engine, get ready and put all your thing in the truck/plane and other things.
I found it very hard to actually go to a race or practice it just wouldn’t let me but somehow I pressed the right buttons and it let me go and practice in Australia and I got 2 races in before I stopped playing the game.
Value: Of course this game will have good value because it’s FREE! I have never seen a better free game in my life. This really has heaps of options you can do to play out your career as a race team manager. Win a few races and take your team to the top, get better sponsors and get better drivers and mechanics etc.
Overall: This game gets an 8/10. Still that is pretty good for a game in the 90's. Enjoy this game!
