It a Funny Old Game

Game Review (written by Shannon) Added on: 09/11/2011
There is not much to be said about the Anquilla Software International Ltd. Development, It’s a Funny Old Game. Well, except that the game’s title is funnier than the game itself. Published by 21st Century Enterprises Ltd., It’s a Funny Old Game is actually a soccer simulator. Sometimes, you literally cannot judge a game by its name.

It’s a Funny Old Game was released in the middle nineties and was actually developed for Windows 3.x. As mentioned above, it is a soccer or European style football game.
The thing that makes the game funny is the characters or players. All of the soccer players are represented as little goofy cartoon figures, full of character and humor.

Outside of the oddness of the players, It’s a Funny Old Game does a lot of things that any standard soccer simulation will do. You have to train up your little goof balls, draft them and trade them in order to build a team that is to your liking. Similarly, you will have to manage the business end of the game, as well, controlling finances and all aspects of the money. You also make the calls

Anyone remember or know of a game in which you worked 9 to 5 in the office of stock trading with old fashion desk, radio, telephone, reality type game trading stocks, bonds, oil, gold & etc. Played music and felt like you were in the 1900s working in the office. Please let me know. I thought the name was Rags to Riches and/or was developed by Interplay. It was sometime in the 80s. Thanks for any help.

People that downloaded It A Funny Old Game also downloaded the following games:

PGA Tour Golf Lexi-Cross
Romance of The Three Kingdoms 1 Celtic Tales: Balor of Evil Eye
Pitfall Ultimate Soccer Manager 98-99
